PICNIC COLLECTIVE
︎ < for more info
PICNIC COLLECTIVE is a multidisciplinary collaborative and process-oriented art endeavor. It is comprised of artists Carolina Gonzalez Valencia, Asha
Tamirisa and several collaborators. The name PICNIC COLLECTIVE emphasizes the idea of finding each other in any space and
utilizing whatever infrastructure may exist for collectivity. The result is emergent;
dependent on whatever members bring to share. The name also suggests being
nomadic; we roam and find nourishment wherever we find each other. The idea behind PICNIC COLLECTIVE was born while sharing bread and ideas at a picnic table in South Portland, Maine.
