ARTIFACT is a handwoven sculpture-tapestry that integrates textiles and electronic components into a unified form. From afar, it resembles a traditional woven tapestry, but closer inspection reveals embedded electronic elements. By merging materials that are often viewed as separate—craft textiles and modern electronics—the artwork highlights the deep historical connections between them. In particular, it draws attention to the shared technical knowledge, manufacturing processes, and forms of labor that underpin both textiles and electronics production.
