ARTIFACT | 2020
 | dimensions: 4’ x 9’
exhibited at Connecticut College’s Cummings Art Gallery
as part of (Re)Generations Art and Technology Summit

ARTIFACT is motivated by the interrelated yet often obfuscated connections between textiles and electronics, communication technologies, and computation. The piece literally weaves fiber and electronics wires into a single textile. By bringing together these seemingly disparate materials, the work illuminates shared histories and materialities between these modalities and technical processes.
